Going from Portland Oregon to NYC and back, Charles began his career working alongside photographers and photojournalists, the likes of Robert Frank, driving his interest in street photography and capturing people living authentically - without a filter. Raising five children, Charles understands that the small and in-between moments of connection make up real life. Sometimes these moments are reflective, sometimes exuberant, often funny, and more often, just a moment in time.
