LIVIA CETTI - BOTANICAL Livia Cetti is a renowned botanical and still-life stylist, crafter, and creative director. Growing up in an artistic family in the mountains north of Santa Barbara helped define Livia's organic sensibility. In addition to her fine arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute, she has more than 19 years of experience in the floral industry. As a magazine editor, she oversaw the idea generation, editorial content, and style direction of hundreds of stories for Martha Stewart Weddings and Brides magazines. Additionally, Livia has styled and crafted botanicals for global print advertising campaigns for clients ranging from Fresh, Clinique and Aveda to Victoria's Secret Beauty. She has also crafted botanicals and other paper creations for events and installations for brands such as Hermès and Kate Spade. Livia is highly regarded as a paper-flower artist, known for her high-style, elaborate tissue and crepe-paper flowers—which are usually mistaken for real blooms. The Exquisite Book of Paper Flowers, to be published by STC Craft/Melanie Falick Books in March 2014, is her comprehensive how-to manual showcasing her until-now secret techniques for creating her coveted paper flowers. She lives in the Bronx, New York, in a charming farm house built in 1901 with her husband and two boys, Dante and Mick.
